You're here, you're safe, and your emotions are safe with me, no matter how big or small your

feelings may be right now. Everyone needs a place to let their guard down - I can be that place

for you.

Who I Love To Work With

I work with individuals and couples navigating life transitions, relationships, racial identity, and

the ways our experiences shape who we are.

I especially enjoy working with:

People who feel tired of having their culture dismissed or misunderstood and are seeking a space where their experiences are recognized and valued.

Adults navigating relational changes and life transitions, family roles, and personal growth.

Couples who want to strengthen their relationship, whether they are looking to be proactive, communicate more effectively, learn to navigate conflict, or repair after difficult moments.

Individuals who want to incorporate their faith and personal beliefs into their journey toward emotional health and healing.

People seeking to understand how their past and family of origin experiences continue to influence their present relationships, emotions, and choices.

Adult children of immigrants navigating cultural differences, family expectations, and belonging.

Adults in the “sandwich generation” balancing the challenges of caring for both children and aging parents.

Common Reasons Adult and Couples Clients Reach Out for Support in Federal Way

I support clients navigating challenges related to relationships, racial identity, communication, and personal values, including:

Relationship concerns and communication challenges

Faith and religious-based struggles

Asian American and BIPOC identity, including intergenerational stressors and cultural expectations

Marital stress, conflict, and building healthier patterns of connection

Setting and maintaining boundaries while honoring your needs and relationships

What It’s Like in a Session With Me (Adults and Couples Therapy)

My goal is to have every client feel seen, heard, supported, and understood without judgment. I

let my clients take the lead in what they'd like to discuss and explore. I am here to listen,

empathize, and point out links in patterns of past and present behaviors, so that I can help them

move forward. I don't do quick fixes because I believe that many issues take a long time to

develop, and might take a while to un-develop and heal from. I hope that even after my work

with a client is done, I can always be a resource for them to come back to for future "tune-ups"

as needed.

A Note From Me

At some point in life, we all need someone who is truly on our side. I’m here to be on your side:

to offer support, understanding, and a space where you can heal and grow at your own pace in

your journey.

Chatting and laughing with colleagues refreshes and restores me. Outside of work I recharge

through reading silly rom-com books, listening to historical fiction, spending time with family and

friends-who-are-family, looking out over a body of water any chance I get, and trying ethnic

cuisines of any culture, but Cantonese food is my favorite.

Relationships can create lasting hurt, but relationships can also be healing. I believe that a

therapeutic relationship can create space for understanding and growth towards meaningful and

lasting change.
