walk alongside you during this part of your journey.

Who I Love To Work With

I love working with older adults, midlife women, marginalized communities, and communities of

color. I value creating a space where clients feel seen, respected, and understood while

exploring the experiences, challenges, and strengths that shape their lives.

What It’s Like in a Session With Me (Adults and Couples Therapy)

I am a direct and engaged clinician who believes that meaningful growth comes through

collaboration, curiosity, and honest conversation. I will challenge, question, and offer new

perspectives when it feels helpful, while always honoring your experiences and strengths.

My approach is solution-focused and strengths-based, with attention to the many

biopsychosocial factors that shape our lives. I draw from my experience with brief interventions

and practical strategies to help clients create meaningful change.

Above all, I believe in the importance of human connection. I bring empathy, authenticity, and

my own lived experiences into the therapeutic relationship, recognizing that we are all human

beings navigating the complexities of life.

A Note From Me

Finding a therapist who feels like the right fit is a little like finding a pair of really comfortable

shoes - it may take a few tries before you find the one that feels right. That process is

completely okay.

I want you to know that I hear you, I value your experiences, and I believe your story is worth

being understood. What you have to say matters, and there is space here for you to be seen,

heard, and supported.

Outside of my work, I enjoy creative and detail-focused projects such as Japanese embroidery,

traditional embroidery, crochet, diamond art, and resin art. I value quiet moments of reflection

and making time for myself through simple activities like drinking tea, sitting outside, camping,

and spending time walking or playing with my dog.

I also love cooking for myself and others, exploring new recipes, and trying different cuisines.

These hobbies allow me to slow down, be creative, and appreciate the small moments that

bring joy and connection.

I am a parent, step-parent, aunt, woman of color, and a 5th-generation Chinese American with

deep family roots in the Hawaiian Islands. My lived experiences, including my journey as a

cancer survivor, have shaped my understanding of resilience, identity, family, and the many

experiences that influence who we are.
