I am here to accept you as you are and walk alongside you as we navigate a journey that is completely tailored to your needs, your experiences, and your goals for your mental health.
Starting this process can feel overwhelming, confusing, or even intimidating when you're trying to figure out where to begin. You may not always know exactly what you need or what the next step looks like and that's okay. You don't have to have it all figured out before reaching out.
You are not alone in this process. I am honored to walk with you, help you sort through the messiness, and take some of the weight off your shoulders as we work together toward understanding, healing, and growth.
Who I Love To Work With
I love working with those who might describe themselves as “people-pleasers,” “overthinkers,”
“over-achievers,” “unable to relax,” “grew up feeling unheard or unseen,” or “the generational
cycle breaker of my family.” I deeply value creating space for people who have spent so much of
their lives caring for others, striving for more, and carrying the weight of expectations placed on
them.
Common Reasons Clients Often Reach Out for Support in Federal Way
ADHD, including executive functioning, emotional regulation, and self-understanding.
Chronic illness (POTS, EDS, MCAS), including the emotional impact of ongoing symptoms and changes in daily life.
OCD, including intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, and anxiety.
C-PTSD, including the impact of past experiences on relationships, emotions, and self-worth.
LGBTQIA+ identities, providing an affirming space to explore identity, relationships, and self-expression.
Anxiety, including worry, overthinking, feeling overwhelmed, and difficulty finding calm.
Neurodivergence, with a focus on understanding and honoring each person's unique way of experiencing the world.
Individuals who experienced emotional neglect during childhood, including exploring its impact on self-worth, relationships, and emotional needs.
I affirm all types of relationship dynamics and am sex-positive and kink-friendly.
I strive to create a compassionate, judgment-free space where clients feel safe, supported, and comfortable discussing the topics that others might deem “TMI.”
What It’s Like in a Session With Me (Adult Therapy)
Because I work with many overthinkers, therapy often begins with taking time to slow down,
look inward, and better understand who you are and what matters most to you. This can include
exploring your identity, your values, and learning how to recognize and trust your feelings in a
more authentic way. We will also work together to build coping tools that fit your specific needs
and the challenges you are facing. As we build this foundation, we will incorporate more
awareness of the mind-body connection to help create lasting change rather than relying only
on coping skills when things feel overwhelming. Throughout the process, collaboration remains
a priority, and we will work together to create a path that feels supportive, meaningful, and right
for you.

A Note From Me
Taking the first step toward therapy is often the hardest part. I understand how vulnerable and
challenging it can feel to reach out for support and begin this process. Many of us have learned
to struggle quietly or feel that asking for help is a sign of weakness, especially given the stigma
around mental health in our society. However, you do not have to navigate this journey alone.
You deserve support, understanding, and the opportunity to feel better.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I value personal growth and continue my own journey
through attending therapy. In my free time, I enjoy hobbies that allow me to be creative, connect
with nature, and slow down, including pottery, tidepooling, thrifting, birdwatching, and searching
for sea glass. I have a deep love for animals and find so much joy in observing them in their
natural environments. I also cherish spending time with my partner and our pets.
Difficulties with our mental health can leave us feeling isolated and misunderstood. I strive to
create a judgment-free zone where clients feel comfortable discussing issues that others might
deem "TMI" so that we can make real progress that lasts.
