I am confident that my experience and training has prepared me to provide the quality and compassionate care you have been looking for.

What It’s Like in a Session With Me (Child, Teen & Young Adult Therapy)
As a client-centered therapist, I see you as the expert on your own experiences and adapt my approach depending on your unique needs, goals, and identity. I'll strive to connect with you on a personal level, understand your perspective, and work together to find solutions and healing.
Whether you need space to process your thoughts out loud, info-dump about your interests, express rage against oppressive systems, or focus on problem solving, the session time is yours and we will spend it in whichever way feels most useful to you.

A Note From Me
If you've had bad experiences with therapists talking over you in session, not truly listening, or using harmful approaches, I hope meeting with me can be a new and refreshing experience. I'd love to connect for a brief consult call so you can get to know me and my vibe before committing to the first session (and I can get to know you as well!).
In my personal life, I enjoy going to brunch, hiking, playing video games, and catching up on shows and music that my clients recommend. As a transplant to the PNW (I grew up mostly in Utah), I enjoy trying out new restaurants and exploring new places.
There’s a big difference between knowing something logically and teaching your body and nervous system that you are worthy, safe, or deserving of empathy. My hope in therapy is to help bridge that gap, to explore thoughts and patterns of behavior with curiosity, and to foster self-compassion.
I offer in-person therapy in Federal Way, WA, as well as telehealth therapy available across Washington State. I work with children, teens, and young adults (ages 15 to 30) and provide evening appointment options to accommodate busy school and work schedules. I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna/Evernorth, Premera, Regence, Kaiser (PPO & HMO), Optum, United, and other major insurance plans.
