How can we help you?
At Thrive Counseling Center we strive to be transparent about the process of counseling.
We know that counseling is something that a lot of people feel hesitant to talk about, and resistant to share their experiences, which can lead to confusion and a lot of unknowns about the process. Especially if this is your first time considering working with a therapist.
Our goal is to demystify the counseling process and help you understand how counseling works.
Below are some of the most common questions we are asked and some answers to get you started. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to contact us by email, or give us a call.
LGBTQ+ Counseling Services
During an LGBTQ+ counseling session, you can speak confidentially with a therapist familiar with issues specific to people of diverse sexualities and genders. We want our clients to feel comfortable talking with us about their concerns, whether they’re specific to one’s sexual orientation or gender identity or not. There are no limits to what topics we can explore and discuss together.
Our LGBTQ+ counseling can help clients explore their sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression; thinking of coming out; identify and manage gender dysphoria, depression, or anxiety; and deal with bullying or discrimination. Your LGBTQ+ counselor can also help you with sexual problems, relationship issues, addiction, or parenting matters.
LGBTQ+ Counseling in Federal Way
Do you identify as LGBTQ+, or are you exploring your identity/orientation? Are you seeking support? Our LGBTQ+ therapists with expertise in gender and sexual diversity are here to help you.
At Thrive Counseling Center, we support our LGBTQ+ clients as they work through unique problems, and we do this by getting to know them and their present issues. We value each client as an individual with unique issues and goals, and we are here to help you thrive and live your best life.
Once we get to know you, we can design a specific treatment to address your concerns and meet your therapy goals.
Please feel free to give us a call today to schedule your consultation with one of our LGBTQ+ counselors in Federal Way.
